Question:
I tow my fifth wheel with the Pullrite #2600 SuperLite Single Point Fifth Wheel Hitch. Being I have a ball attachment below the kingpin, can this tripod stabilizer attach to the ball and work to stop motion like with the kingpin?

Expert Reply:
The gooseneck style ball that's attached to your king pin would fit in the cup of the Ultra-Fab 5th Wheel King Pin Tripod Stabilizer # UF19-950001 and act as a stabilizer as you extend it up. The problem is that the shape of the cup could allow for a bit of movement or just place the downward force on the tripod at an angle since there's a lot of space so you might run into issues getting it to sit correctly. You also would not be able to use the included padlock to prevent someone from stealing the stabilizer. A king pin has a small cutout portion and lip at the bottom that would hit against the lock and prevent theft. Getting a lock for the ball would take a bit of measuring and looking to find the correct fit.
