Troubleshooting MaxxFan RV Fan that Won't Open with Remote

Question:

My max air fan turns on with the remote. But stopped opening by the remote ? You can hear it beep when you hit the button. But will not open

Is there a clicking noise when the "close" button on the remote is pressed? Does the fan stop moving when the "close" button on the remote is pressed? If you hear a clicking noise then the motor is likely faulty but if the fan doesn't stop moving then the issue is likely a fault in the circuit board.

My guess is it's the circuit board but since I do not know what model Maxxair you have for sure it's hard to say what you would need. You'd want the part # MA10A21275K if the fan is reversible or part # MA39FR if the fan is only exhaust.
