Yes, you can use the Gen-Y Hitch Shock Absorbing 5th Wheel-Gooseneck Pin Box # GY36FR with your 2011 Ram 3500 and CM flatbed with recessed gooseneck ball. You will need the Safety Chain # GY49GR since you are switching to a ball connection and safety chains are required on trailers using a ball connection.
I recommend using the Bolt Kit # GY86FR to install the pin box. This will ensure you do not reuse damaged or weakened hardware from your current pin box.
