Does Installation of Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension Require a Crossmember

Question:
Im looking to mount the the system on 1/4inch thick 4inch square tubing. Do you have to install the 2inch squre tubing across?

Installation of the Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension # ASR5200S01 does not necessarily require the addition of the 2" x 3" steel tubing for support. If you have an existing cross-member where you want to install this then you don't need to add anything. If not, adding the additional crossmember is one solution to add support to keep your trailer square.
The other option is fabricating reinforcement brackets which can be attached to the inside of your frame and to the # ASR5200S01. Doing this will allow you to maintain additional clearance that could be lost from adding a crossmember.
