Dimensions of K Source Universal Low-Mount Style Door Mirror

Question:

Hello! I have a 1997 F250 and I want to replace the factory black mirrors with the classic stainless towing mirrors. I will be pulling a horse trailer every now and then, and I think they just look sweet. I was wondering what the distance between the upper holes for this mirror and the length and width of the plate that attaches closer to the window - the top attachment sorry, not sure what to call this part Thanks! I appreciate it!

The distance between the lower arms on the K Source Universal Low-Mount Style Door Mirror # KS29MD runs 8-10" for installation. K Source was unable to give me the length and width of the mounting plate but the distance between the mounting holes is 3-7/8" so the overall length of that plate is approximately 8".

I have attached the instructions in a picture below which include these measurements for your reference.
