Question:
Do they make an observation camera that can use the factory screen in my 2012 3500 RAM? Thanks

Although we do offer many brands and styles of backup/observation camera systems these are all either complete free-standing systems that have their own monitor or they are designed to use a smartphone as the display. None of the aftermarket camera systems we offer are designed to integrate with OEM vehicle displays. This is a good question that is asked often.
The system I tend to recommend for owners of longer travel trailers is the SwiftHitch # SH03D wireless dual camera system with Night Vision. This includes a hand-held monitor with a smallish 2-1/2-inch display. The water-resistant cameras come with magnet mounts but they can also be suction-cup or permanently mounted. This wireless system uses interference-free digital signal transmission. A single camera version is offered too, part # SH02DIGITAL, as well as one that uses a smartphone, part # SH04.
All such camera systems are displayed on the linked page. You can click on the features you prefer, such as the size of the display. For instance, the Rear View Safety Wireless Backup Camera # RVS-2CAM comes with one camera but can accept a second one, and it has a 7-inch display.
