Should Rhino Rack Aero Bar Rack for Camper Shells Install Through Structural Ridges

Question:

I have a 2015 Toyota Tacoma double cab, short bed, with a Snugtop Rebel camper shell, and Im looking to install the Y02-480B roof rack system. What should the center to center spacing on my tracks be? The roof of the shell has a reinforced section in it. Should I drill through the reinforced section of the roof, or on the outside between the reinforced section and the side windows? See picture for details

The reinforced section of the camper shell you have is a structural portion of it so I would not recommend going through it and instead would go to the outsides of it when you install the Rhino Rack Aero Bar Camper Shell Rack # Y02-480B.
