Replacement Rooftop AC Unit For A Dometic Duo-Therm 630035.331

Question:

I have a customer that hit his ac unit make Duo-therm mod 630035.331 prod #991760407 ser#542 30194 he would like to replace the unit Im not sure of a unit that will work with the thermostats and i could use a price

The rooftop condenser unit can be replaced with a model like the Advent Air Replacement RV Air Conditioner for Dometic Setup # ACDOM150, you'll just want to determine the connector style for the current unit. It will have either a 6-pin or 9-pin connector (pictured below). If you have a 9-pin connector then you'll just also need to pick up an adapter # ACCOLKIT to be able to connect to the controller. To get to the connector you should be able to remove the cover for the air distribution box and look up and see the controller and the wire harness hanging down from the old unit.

The # ACDOM150 has a higher BTU rating at 15,000 BTU's, whereas the 630035.331 has a 13,500 BTU rating. A higher rated unit will cool more efficiently but will obviously cost a bit more. If you want to stick with the same rating then the # ACDOM135 would be the correct choice.
