Question:

I have a 2006 holiday rambler endeavor motorhome with two rooftop air conditioners with heat pumps and are in use with a dual thermostat comfort control I want to replace them because I am starting to have trouble with one. I am in Florida right now and checked with some rv repair places and they want to charge me around 1900 dollars just for the unit I am questioning myself because youre unit are a lot cheaper which is great.my model number is dometic 630035.331 Have to make sure it will fit and work off my thermostat. Thanks

You can replace your Dometic 630035.331 condenser units with the Advent Air Replacement RV Air Conditioner for Dometic Setup w/ Start Capacitor - 15,000 Btu # ACDOM150 you were looking at and still retain use of your current air distribution box and thermostat. The heat pump function is part of your Dometic condenser unit so you would lose this if you swapped out the unit with anything but the exact Dometic replacement.

You can however install the Electric Heat Strip for Advent Air RV Air Conditioners - 5,500 BTU # ACMHD which would serve the same purpose. You would just need to remove the cover of your thermostat and change the three "Dip Switches" to Up - Down - Down to switch it from heat pump to heat strip.
