Suspension Enhancement Recommendation for 2017 Ram 2500 Power Wagon To Fix Sway When Towing

Question:

We have a 2017 Ram Power Wagon we tow a Grand Design 5th wheel with. we also went with an Anderson hitch that drops into the standard rail system. The Power wagon is very capable and we are well within the towing capacity, but we have some body sway, so we wanted to add a set of Timbren standard SES to the rear like we had on a previous truck. Then I found a Youtube reviewer with a 2018 Power wagon, and he stated that they will not work for the power wagon, but did not say why. So I would like to know if they will work, and it not with the Sumo Springs work instead? As I said, we just need to get rid of the body roll and we are golden. Thank you

We had a customer with a 2018 Ram 2500 Power Wagon with the same issue you described try the SumoSprings kit part # SSR-312-54 and it solved the issue so that would be what I would highly recommend. The Timbren kits can work too but they are known to be much harsher so I would stick with the SumoSprings which will fix the problem and not hurt ride quality.
