Question:

need help for rear end of Ram 2022 power wagon for payload capacity and towing. The truck is lifted 2 above the reg. 2500 rams and has a smaller payload capacity. Thanks

For your 2022 Ram 2500 Power Wagon with a 2" lift I recommend the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2598. Air bags are the best option for additional support, especially with your lift.

These offer 5,000 lbs of load-leveling capacity and can be adjusted depending on what you're towing or hauling. The pressure can also be reduced to the minimum when you aren't towing or hauling so they won't impact your ride. Keep in mind, no suspension enhancement will increase the payload and towing capacity of your truck.

With a 2" lift you may also need a spacer. You will need to measure the distance between the upper and lower brackets to determine if one is needed. If the distance between the brackets is 6.5"-7.5" you need # F2536. If it is 7.5"-8.5" you need # F2366.

I also recommend adding a compressor like the Firestone Air Command II # F2178. This will allow you to adjust the pressure anytime and anywhere from the cab of your truck. It is a dual path system so you can adjust the air springs independently or equally.
