Camera for Viewing Gooseneck Ball in 2018 Silverado 3500 with Tool Box and Transfer Tank

Question:
I have a 10 inch wide fuel transfer tank and a 30 inch wide tool box mounted in my truck. Will this camera have the correct mounting height/adjustable angle to view my gooseneck ball in the bed?

The best way to determine if the Truck Bed Cargo Camera # 3460010 will give you visibility of your Silverado 3500's gooseneck ball is to attach a piece of string about an inch below the OEM 3rd brake light. This is where the camera lens will be once you have intalled part # 3460010. If the string can reach the bed floor just forward of the gooseneck ball without contacting either your transfer tank or tool box then you will have a line of sight to the ball.
If not you might prefer a standalone wireless camera like Rear View Safety # RVS-091406 which has a compact camera you could mount wherever you get the best view of the bed and gooseneck ball. You might even be able to place it between the tool box and bed rail to keep it protected.
