Question:
The Roadmaster Comfort Ride Add-On Kit for Tandem Axle Trailers - 5,200-lb to 7000-lb Axles Question is, is it possible to use shocks with springs so I can get a little bit of lift?

Expert Reply:
If you are trying to gain some lift you will want to use a Lift Kit # RR23QX or if your trailer is experiencing sag due to weight adding a couple sets of the SumoSprings Trailer Helper Springs # SS26MV will help to support the weight and reduce sag. The Roadmaster Comfort Ride # RM-2460-50 was designed with the resistance of the shocks in mind and not an additional spring so they are not going to be strong enough for a type of coil over shock.
