Will these stems rust over the years mainly the caps to the stems

The Americana Metal, Bolt-In Valve Stem # AM20906 is chrome plated to help resist rust, so as long as there's no damage these valve stems should last long past their expected lifespan. Typically the valve stems are replaced every time your tires are replaced, which should be about every 5 years (depending on usage).
