Will The Keel Pads Mount To 2x4 Bunk Boards On a Boat Trailer?

Can I use them on a 2x4 on bunks.

The Yates Keel Pad # YR1203SB is designed to fit on 3" wide frames and crossmembers. To mount them on bunk boards you would have to notch the 2"x4" for them to even fit. Also the pad is not designed to hold the boat like you get with Bunk Board Carpeting # CE11330. They are designed to let the boat easily slide if it were to accidently hit that portion of your trailer and are not rated to hold the weight of the boat all the time.
If you are looking for something to make launching and retrieving your boat easier you should consider Roller Bunks # DL21741.
