I am going to tow a 2016 Jeep Patriot behind my RV. I want to buy the invisibrake 8700 braking system and I have that on purchase. I also need a tow bar and a bracket for my Patriot. Can you please tell me if buying those three items will be sufficient to enable me to tow my Jeep Patriot behind my RV? And which tow bar and bracket should I purchase? Thank you.

If your 2016 Jeep Patriot has a manual transmission then you can flat tow it and you will need a wiring harness in addition to the parts you mentioned. The only way to tow your Patriot if it has an automatic transmission is to use a dolly like item # DM9713093.
For a compatible base plate kit, I recommend the Roadmaster Crossbar-Style Base Plate Kit item # 521441-1. This has removable arms and will work great with the etrailer SD Non-Binding Tow Bar item # e44ZR. This tow bar has a 6,000 lbs capacity and includes the necessary safety chains and adapters to fit the Roadmaster Base Plate Kit.
The Roadmaster InvisiBrake Supplemental Braking System item # RM-8700 is compatible with your Jeep and a great option. I have linked an installation video below. You will also need the RoadMaster BrakeMaster Custom Seat Adapter item # RM-88253 to complete the installation.
To control your Jeep's lights from your RV you will also need the Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit item # RM-15267.
