It sounds like you are likely referring to the running lights staying on when you shut off your 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. These lights can stay on for a moment after the truck shuts off and you lock your door. You will want to check to see if the trailer lights are staying on longer than the running/entry/exit lamps on your Silverado. These settings can also sometimes be changed in your settings for the vehicle lights.
If the lights on the trailer are staying on beyond the trucks lights then there is a problem with the trailer circuit having power when it should switch off. This would be something you would need to take to a dealer to have corrected as the issue is likely in the vehicle control module.
