Expert Reply:
I went out to the warehouse with the writer who wrote the description for the Trailer Valet, # STC-V211, to determine if our stock is the old or new version. I am happy to report that we have the new version. The manufacturer states the following changes:
The new Trailer Valets will still be powder coated, but all the parts that are exposed will be now be Zinc-Nickel Plated, a process known for its excellent resistance to corrosion. The quality of the Acme Screws on the device are greatly improved, making it much easier to raise and lower the trailer. We have used a thicker gauge steel for the parts most prone to tension.
All new tires have been carefully inspected upon delivery. The packaging has improved greatly, so there will be less damages to the product during shipping.
