Will Draw-Tite 20K Hitch Ball Work with 16K Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System

This 20k rated ball has a shank 3/8” longer than the Equalizer brand 16k ball. Will this 20k ball work on the Equalizer 4 Point 1600/16000 head using the thin wall 1 7/8 socket you sell? Concerned the extra shank length might effect proper socket to nut flats fit. Thanks.

The correct hitch ball for the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System part # EQ64FR is the 2-5/16" Hitch Ball for Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution Systems part # EQ54FR. The 2-5/16" Hitch Ball part # 63840 won't work as the shank is 2-3/4" long and the limit for this system is 2-3/8" per the manual.
