Expert Reply:
The cameras of the RVS camera kit part # RVS-770614 only need a power and ground wire ran to them and they can be viewed at any time by selecting them from the menu. Or you can also run one of the three trigger wires to a circuit that you'd like to have them come on. Typically people will use turn signals if their cameras are side view cameras, reverse light if for a backup view, or to the running lights so that you can easily flip it on by turning on the vehicle running lights.
