Solution for Adding Truck Bed Camera for Hooking Up 5th Wheel on 2019 Ram 3500

Question:
Did NOT come with a bed camera. Did come with a tailgate camera. Want to monitor 5th wheel hook-ups. Your third tail light camera is NOT approved for the 3500. What are my other solutions for the 3500 bed camera ?

Your best option for adding a truck bed camera for 5th wheel hookups is going to be with a more universal option like the excellent Rear View Safety # RVS-091406. Since there aren't any custom option available that will replace the 3rd brake light assembly on your 2019 Ram 3500 or work with its factory monitor in the cab, you will just need to get a little creative with the mounting process.
This is why the Rear View Safety # RVS-091406 offers a really nice design for this application, as the camera itself is very small (while still allowing for an excellent view of the bed) and can be easily mounted at an ideal location on the rear of the cab with its 2-hole bracket. You will just want to tie the camera's wiring into the truck's running light circuit so that you can have constant observation when hooking up to the trailer. This system features a nice 4.3" color monitor for a really clear picture.
Another really good option that would eliminate the need for an additional monitor in the cab is the Rear View Safety WiFi Backup Camera # RVS-83112-WiFi that will just transmit the video to your smart phone. This offers a really simple setup process with convenient operation when needed.
