Should Valve Stem Be Facing In or Out On Trailer Tire Rim

Question:
Valve stem in or facing out on trailer tire rim 4.80-8
asked by: Armand T
Helpful Expert Reply:
When you install the Kenda 4.80/4.00-8 Bias Trailer Tire with 8" White Wheel # AM30020 on your trailer you want the valve stem to be facing outwards, away from the trailer frame, so it's easier to adjust the air pressure in your tire. This is the same for any tire on any trailer.
If you're installing a valve stem and you're trying to decide whether it's supposed to point into the trailer tire or out towards you - you want the valve stem pointing out so you're able to access it (see attached).
