How Would A Step-Thru Bike Attach to the Hollywood Racks Destination E Bike Rack?

Question:
Why cant you use an adapter with a step thru bike with the Destination E? Im trying to decide between a Destination E and an On Ramp Yakima. I have a 50# American Rider Mid 3.0 from Crazy Lennys with 3 tires. Hauling with truck. I Iike the Destination E ramp best.

The reason a step-thru adapter is not needed on Hollywood Racks Destination E Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes # HLY66ZR is because the tube that has the clamp on cradles is pretty adjustable and can adjust to fit step-thru bikes like your American Rider Mid 3.0.
I have attached a picture a customer had sent in with their step-thru bike on the Hollywood Racks Destination E rack for you to check out.
Also, with this bike having a higher carrying capacity and the cheaper price tag makes this a clear cut winner over the Yakima OnRamp Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes - 2" Hitches # Y36FR.
