Carrying more than your bike can manage? The Reacha City gives you the space you didn't have before with a lightweight, adjustable design that handles the load for you on a bike or on foot. Ideal for city living or a car-free lifestyle.
Even with panniers or a backpack, a bike can only carry so much before the load gets awkward or unsafe. The Reacha City steps in when your day demands more more groceries, more supplies, or more stops along the way. It can carry up to 77 lbs when towed by bike and up to 132 lbs when used as a hand cart, giving you room for the things that never quite fit before. Its adjustable frame lets you narrow the setup for tight sidewalks or widen it when the haul grows. From your daily commute to delivery runs or a trip to the park, it takes the strain off your bike and off your body, turning big loads into something that feels manageable and surprisingly effortless. Instead of forcing your plans to fit your carry capacity, the Reacha City expands what your day can include.
When you're living a walk-or-bike kind of life, every piece of gear has to pull its weight. The Reacha City fits right into that rhythm, the one where errands, workouts, and commutes often blend together. The snap-lock connectors make it easy to switch between bike trailer and hand cart when your route changes, and they also make assembly and disassembly simple. Apartment dwellers, couriers, students, and anyone avoiding parking fees will appreciate how naturally it shifts with them throughout the day.
Bike trailers usually come with one big problem: finding somewhere to put them when you're not using them. The Reacha City solves that with a design that breaks down quickly and folds into a compact bundle one person can carry. It's small enough to tuck into a closet, slide under a bed, or bring inside an apartment without rearranging your entire living space.
Sidewalk cracks, cobblestones, boardwalks, bike paths, the Reacha City rolls through it all. The 20" wheels handle weight without feeling heavy, and they come off easily when it is time to pack the trailer away thanks to the quick-lock skewers. And if your day takes you trail riding or to the beach, you can add Thule Reacha Fat Tires for better traction in muddy or sandy terrain.
Reacha offers modular add-ons to expand your setup (all sold separately). The Wide Drawbar Kit increases the trailer's width by an additional four inches for larger cargo. Removable side rails - called Thule Reacha Bows - and matching Thule Reacha Bow Covers help secure taller or stacked items. Add what you need now or build out your system over time.

Hi, everyone, I'm Evangeline right here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at our Thule Reacha bicycle carriers. These are gonna be trailers that you can attach to the back of your bicycle, zero modifications required, and with this, you have the option of getting the Urban, which you can load up with all kinds of groceries, cargo gear, or the Sport edition, where you can load up with kayaks and whatever you need for adventure. We'll take a look at some of their features right here. So how does this work Well, you have your trailer, and the trailer has this attachment arm. So this an attachment arm wraps around the seat post of your bicycle, and secures it with some hook and loop straps, no bolting required.
With this, you can adjust for different types of bike heights and bike lengths for whatever fits best, and you have an easy option to just drive away with the attachment arm and leave your trailer parked, if needed for your trips. You have two trailer options. You have the Reacha Sport, which has this long nose, great for if you're planning on carrying around your kayaks, your paddleboards, or your canoes, and then you have the Reacha Urban. With a shorter nose, this will give you a much smaller footprint. Picture yourself riding through a city, picking up groceries, picking up cargo, this will allow you to fit into those smaller areas more easily.
Other than the different nose shapes, all your Reacha trailers are gonna have very similar features, capacities, and modularity. By modularity, you can add kickstands, you can add sidewalls, you can switch out the tires with just your quick release skewers. There's lots of things you can do with the Reacha trailers to customize for your adventure, but on their own, they're great for carrying around different cargo, different gear. The fact that you don't have to modify your own bike to carry around a trailer is awesome. Lightly modular, and very few tools required, I've been really enjoying using the Thule Reacha trailers here at etrailer.
We've been able to go around and use them for a couple of days, ride around on the bike, and it's been a lot of fun. There's also smaller touchpoints in there, like a really good weight capacity, levers that allow you to make adjustments without having to use tools or tighten down bolts. Please check out our product pages here at etrailer if you have more questions or you're curious about just the other things that you can do with your Reacha trailer. With that in mind, if you have been using these since they have been around for a while and you have some fun stories, please share your setup of your bike and your Reacha bike trailer, and that way, you can maybe inspire some other people along the way. But today, this was a really quick glimpse at our Reacha bike trailers from Thule, available as the Reacha Urban or the Reacha Sport, with your regular wheels or your beach wheels, right here at etrailer.com.
My name's Evangeline. I hope you enjoyed this viewing.
Hi everyone I’m Evangeline and if you live in the city ride your bike to the store or just need a little help hauling groceries or gym gear the Reacha City trailer is totally your style
This is the urban-friendly version of Thule’s Reacha trailer It’s compact lightweight and easy to maneuver through tight bike lanes busy sidewalks or narrow alleys
Just like the other Reacha trailers it clips onto your bike seat post in seconds no tools or bike mods needed And if you’re walking it the hand cart mode is just as smooth
The shorter front arm means a smaller footprint which is perfect for squeezing into tight parking spots at the farmers market or locking it up outside a coffee shop
It still gives you great cargo space and the fabric trunk adjusts to your gear When you're done the whole thing packs down into itself so you can toss it in a closet or your trunk.
Stash your grocery bags or tote inside the cargo trunk before you go so it’s all set for the ride home Bonus it helps keep everything from sliding around
If you’re a city rider who wants a cleaner easier way to haul without a car this trailer fits right into your lifestyle
