Question:
Will the C56399 work without being connected to the vehicle battery when towing a Uhaul trailer? My vehicle is a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica Limited without factory hitch.

Expert Reply:
The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56399 does not fit your 2017 Chrysler Pacifica Limited, it is for the LX and Touring models; the correct part for your Limited is the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C56322.
This connector will not work without being connected to the battery as this is how the converter is powered. So that is a necessary step, and the only other thing you'll need for towing is a hitch, the Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98903.
