Question:

Hi! I have a 2005 Freightliner Thomas school bus that is converted to RV. I need to tow my 2020 Nissan Versa and am looking for a tow package that would allow me to do so. There are two large steel rings in the rear, underneath. They seem strong enough to attach to if necessary. Do you have anything that may work? Thanks!

For RVs like your Freightliner we have multi fit hitches available like the part # 13703 which can fit frames that are between 22 and 72 inches apart. This hitch has a towing capacity of 3,500 lbs which is more than the weights I found online for a 2020 Nissan Versa so this would work really well in that regard. We don't have any custom fit hitches that would fit your RV otherwise I would have mentioned that option as well.

Since the automatic transmission versions of the 2020 Nissan Versa can't be flat towed with all four wheels on the ground you'd be best served to use a tow dolly like the Demco Kar Kaddy X part # DM9713093 which also can be used with the manual transmission models as well. As long as you have the space for storing a dolly they are the way to go since they require a lot less install time and can be transferred to future vehicles easily unlike flat towing setups.
