Question:
I have a 2007 Pontiac Vibe I need to tow a small utility trailer with and would like to align my sizing with the truck that usually does this work. Our truck has a 2inch ballis it possible to fit a 2inch ball to this receiver? Second, our trailer/truck setup currently has them hitching at roughly 19inch high off the ground. Is there an attachment to this that would help elevate the height a little so the trailer is roughly even?

Expert Reply:
For lighter duty vehicles like your 2007 Pontiac Vibe there are only 1-1/4 inch hitches available as the 2 inch hitch size is for larger vehicles that need additional capacity. So best option we have is a hitch in this size like the Draw Tite part # 24812.
The recommended ball mount is then the # 3593 which has a rise of 2-1/8 inches. For a 2 inch ball you'd then need the part # 19258.
You'll also need trailer wiring to control the trailer lights which for that you'd want the Tekonsha kit part # 118458 which has the easiest install and we've found has the most reliable converter box.
