Can Timbren Jounce Springs Be Used With a Weight Distribution Hitch On a 2014 Ford Explorer?
Published 02/25/2023 >
Question:
I have a 2014 Ford Explorer XLT AWD. I purchased a travel trailer with a dry weight of 3,078 lbs. I also have a recurve R3 weight distribution hitch. Im considering adding this to further help. Is there any reason to not use these in conjunction with a WDH? Ive seen people in forums post about suspension assists and air suspensions as an option instead of a WDH and am wondering if both is a wise choice.

The Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System # TFRFLX can be used with the weight distribution while you are towing with your 2014 Ford Explorer. I always recommend to start with the weight distribution as it helps to reduce sag and like your R3 will reduce trailer sway. Adding the Timbren springs will help improve stability and reduce body roll.
