Question:
I just bought a 2008 Ford F-450 and I need to buy the rails and fifth wheel hitch. I like the b and w companion system, but I only see an option for the 20k pound rating. My friend suggested a bigger hitch, my question is: is this the suggested hitch for me, or am I allowed to get the rails for the frame and also the 25k lb hitch? thank you for your help in this matter, have a great day

There is not an option at all for a 25,000 lb B&W Companion for the standard rails, just for the OEM prep packages. So for your 2008 Ford F-450 you will need the 20,000 lb B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # BWRVK3500-5W and Custom Underbed Installation Kit # BWGNRK1108-5W.
If you need a 5th wheel wiring harness the correct fit is the 5th Wheel / Gooseneck T-Connector # PK11893-11932.
