Will this work with the Demco DM8550034 5th wheel hitch? I am using this with DM6333 2020 GMC 2500HD but would like to eliminate the DM6333 and bolt the DM49GV directly to the DM8550034 thus reducing around 100lbs on my setup. Thanks

Yes, you can remove the side brackets of your Demco Hijacker # DM8550034 and install the brackets part # DM49GV and the hitch will fit directly to the OEM pucks of your 2020 GMC Sierra 2500 short bed. This would allow you ability to not have to use the adapter any longer.
