Does The Firestone Automatic Single-Gauge Height Control Valve Have A Delay When Activated?

Question:

How quickly do the automatic ride height solenoids respond? Is there a delay from when weight is applied to the bed to when air is allowed into the air suspension bags? If so, how long is the delay?

Expert Reply:

I spoke with Firestone about the Automatic, Single-Gauge Pneumatic Height-Control Valve # F2186 and they let me know that this system does not have a control gauge, so there is no delay once the leveling arm is moved to either the upper or lower limit.
