Helpful Expert Reply:
You can use the Brophy Recessed Trailer D-Ring, # RR5K, on your enclosed trailer, however, my main concern would be the ability of the particle board floor to secure or support a heavy load such as a car. Particle board is weaker than wood boards or plywood. The floor would fail well before the d-ring and that would be the case with most tie-down rings that you would install.
It would be best to bolt the d-rings to the trailers frame where possible and add additional reinforcement from the trailers frame.
The Brophy D-Rings have a weight capacity of 5,000 lbs. If you would like a set of straps with a similar weight rating, you can use the Erickson Ratchet Strap, # EM52400 or # EM34410.
