Question:

Ramond W asked this question but all the answers are 1/4 NPT to propane tank we have 3/8 flair female to the propane tank.Is there a replacement hose? Have a problem with an old Marshall Gas M4 flexible hose connector with a female flare fitting, cannot locate one. Please advise. Model #P424 1746 Must be 3/8 inch flair female to propane tank female hose. Not 1/4 inch NPT male to propane tank female

From what you're saying you have a 3/8 Female Flare fitting on your regulator and need to connect to propane tank with a pigtail hose. While we don't currently carry an adapter hose to meet this need we do have some adapters that can help get you there.

You'll need to hook the MB Sturgis Propane Adapter Fitting # MBS77FR into the 3/8" female flare fitting on the regulator. From there you'll use the MB Sturgis Propane Bulkhead w/ Nut and Lockwasher # MBS47FR to connect that fitting to a pigtail hose with a 1/4" male NPT fitting like part # 100473-12.

It's definitely not the prettiest but will get the job done. I recommend using some Jamar's White Stuff # 37207-30555 to seal each connection point and prevent leaks.
