Question:

I need the full open dimensions for the Yakima Y02483 and Kuat PVP20B swing away hitches. Cannot find them on line. I want to see if they will clear two e-bikes on a Hollywood rack when the rear pop out on a Tiffin Wayfarer 2020QW is extended. I know they are not approved for RVs. I don’t care. The pop out is 77” wide. The RV is 92” wide. Thank you very much.

I have included some images below with measurements for both the Yakima BackSwing Swing Away Hitch Extender # Y02483 and Kuat Pivot 2 Swing Away Hitch Extender # PVP20B. You should really consider adding a EcoHitch Hidden Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver # 306-X7352 to your 2020 Tiffin Wayfarer motorhome. This will allow you to install your bike rack on the front of your RV which will be better since there is not much weight on the front of your chassis.

If you are needing a bike rack the Hollywood Racks RV Rider Bike Rack # HLY64FR is RV rated and would work well on the front of your RV. This rack is capable of holding 2 bikes up to 80lbs each and uses clamps to secure the bike to the rack by the frame. Unlike other frame clamps these are adjustable vertically so you can mount to step through bikes without needing an adapter.
