Question:
I bought a camper with electric brakes. It requires a 7 prong connector. Is there an adaptor for my Edges plug that came with my tow package?

The simplest way to convert your 4-way flat connector on your 2023 Ford Edge to a 7-Way is by installing the Upgrade Kit # ETBC7. The 4-way will connect to this and included is a wire and circuit breaker to power the charge line portion of the 7-way. Then you will be able to add the Curt Echo # C51180 which is a wireless brake controller you will be able to operate from your smart phone using the Curt app. If you prefer to not use your smart phone we also have the Autowbrake # 3430001 which includes a separate wireless controller. Both the Curt and Autobrake are powered by the charge line and monitor the tail lights on the 4-way to send power to the brake lights. For this you will need to ensure you do not use your hazard lights with the trailer connected as they cannot separate this function from the brake lights as they come on at the same time.
