Can 3" Wide Continuous Hinge - 6' Long - 3/8" Pin Diameter Be Cut Down

Question:

I have a 1931 Essex Super Six Rat-Rod, I wanted to know if your Piano Hinge 3 wide - 3/8 pin, by 6 long could be cut to be used as door pieces? Thank You

The 3" Wide Continuous Hinge - 6' Long - 3/8" Pin Diameter - Steel part # MA75VR can be cut down to your exact length needed. I would simply recommend during so at the knuckle intersections so you don't have any weak knuckles.

The hinge is designed to be used on trailer doors and tailgates, we unfortunately cannot comment on other applications though I'm sure you could find many uses for this. That said, so long as it's installed correctly i.e. solid welds there should be no issues using the hinge within reason.
