Question:
I have two positive hot battery choices at the front of my Monaco motor coach to hook up a 10 gauge wire to power the controller for the blue brake wire. There is a Chassis and a Coach connection. Which one should I use? The same question for the rear of the coach for hooking up a 10 gauge wire to the 7-way connector for charging the trailer batteries, Chassis or Coach battery connection?

The connection you will need to use is most likely the chassis connection in the case of the brake controller. You will want the connection that is hot at all times ran to the brake controller so that the trailer brakes can be operated at any time whether the ignition is on or not. The brake controller should be wired through at least a 20 amp circuit breaker, item # PK54520, and a 30 amp circuit breaker, item # PK54530, if the trailer has more than 4 brakes or the brake controller calls for it.
The power wire to the 7-Way connector for charging the trailer batteries can be connected to either power connection point and should be ran through a 40 amp circuit breaker, item # PK54540. I would recommend attaching this connection to the most direct route to the vehicle battery.
