How To Hook Up On/Off Switch for Dometic Gas/Electric Water Heaters With Different Color Wires

In your wiring diagram you do not show a black or yellow wire - but we have both at the switch. Any idea what they are? And how do we wire them in?

There are many variables when installing the Double-Panel On/Off Switch for Dometic Gas / Electric Combination Water Heaters part # AT91230 therefore it is best to match the wire to the terminals using its function, not the color. The reason for this is because the wires could have been replaced at one time by someone using a different color or the trailer manufacturer could have used a different color. Therefore, we must simply recommend you match the wires to the terminals using their function.
