Question:
I just ordered this unit and was wondering if the startup capacitor is already installed or do I do it? And if I do it are there instructions?

The startup capacitor is not already installed on the AC. To install the start capacitor, you will need to bolt it to the fan motor support with the included hardware. Next you will need to route the wires to the run capacitor. Once installed the hard plastic cover on the AC can easily be removed for maintenance and cleaning.

Just received my advent air conditioner, getting ready to install the hard start capacitor, which black wire goes to red. And which one goes to white, the unit is an ACM135.
