Question:
I recently bought new backing plate assemblies for 3.5k axles but the mounting studs are not long enough. Are there longer studs available?

It may be possible to swap the mounting studs with longer studs so long as your studs are drive in. If your studs are threaded, then you're going to need a new hub assembly with longer wheel studs.
However, if they are drive in then you'll just need to measure the length and knurl diameter of the current bolts. For example, the Kodiak Wheel Bolt # K916WB25 measures 2-1/2" long, has a 9/16" diameter, and has a knurl diameter of 0.685".
Since you're going to need some pretty accurate measurements I recommend using a set of calipers. If you don't have a set, you can use the 4" Carbon Fiber Digital Caliper # PTW80157.
Attached are a couple of videos for you to check out as well.
