Is it true that if I cut the power to the PowertraxPRO the cover can open and close manually? Im ready to purchase but I am considering all security issues

Great choice for a tonneau cover and no, the PowertraxPRO XR cannot be opened without the key fob, so your truck bed will be totally secure no matter what. It will lock in place wherever you have the cover closed, so whatever contents are in the bed of your 2022 Ford F-250 will be safe. The correct fit for your '22 F-250 with the 6'10" standard bed is the following cover:

The PowertraxPRO XR # RTT-90383 does come with two key fobs as well, so you have one as a backup just in case.
