Recommended Replacement For A Parallax 7345 Power Center

Question:

Hello! I have a customer that wants to switch to lithium batteries in his RV. His current converter, a Parallax 7345, doesnt support lithium. What do you recommend for a replacement, assuming the same mounting space can be utilized? Thanks!

The Parallax 7345 has a 45 amp converter in it so the Progressive Dynamics Mighty Mini AC/DC Panel and Converter/Smart Charger - 45 Amp # PD4045KA you were looking at would be a perfect replacement for it. They'll just need to flip the small switch (pictured below) to the "LI" setting to switch the converter to lithium mode.

This unit requires a cutout hole 10-3/4" long x 7-1/4" tall, so they can remove the mounting screws of their current unit to measure the cutout and see if any alterations need to be made. In the video I attached below I had a much larger hole to fill so I cut a piece of wood to cover the hole and then cut a hole in the center of it to hold the power center.
