Recommended Replacement for Dometic Over the Range Microwave DOTR12CB

Question:

I’m looking for a replacement for my microwave. In my RV it hangs over the range with a wall on one side and a cabinet on the other so I have to stay within the dimensions. Mine attaches to the wall by 2 long screws where the red circles are on the picture, that go through the microwave and attaches to a mount on the back wall. It vents through the top in the center rear. I can live without the vent if I have to but I must stay within the dimensions and really would like for it to mount in the same way as my Dometic. Thank you

The best replacement option we offer for a Dometic Over the Range Microwave DOTR12CB is the Furrion Over the Range RV Convection Microwave part # FMCM15SS. This microwave is considerably larger than the one it's replacing at 29-15/16" wide x 16-3/8" tall x 15" deep but it's also the smallest we offer for the over-the-range style. This however would provide you with additional room inside, 1.5 cu ft vs. 1.3 cu ft. The vent is located on top, in the center at the back of the unit.

In regards to installation, you'll likely need to do some modifying in order to make this work so if you don't feel comfortable I recommend reaching out to a local shop in your area. Unfortunately, I don't think there is a direct replacement option for this exact microwave like what you're looking for so retrofitting and modifications are really the only option if you want to replace it with the same style.
