You're checking a Victron system in your van and switching between apps. This 5" touchscreen connects to a Cerbo GX to show and control the whole system in one place with a single cable, so you can read and adjust it at a glance.
When you're trying to keep tabs on a Victron setup with multiple components, bouncing between separate interfaces slows everything down. The GX Touch 50 puts a full system overview and control interface in one fixed 5" touchscreen, so you can see system data and get to settings from a single spot. With its 800 x 480 display resolution, the screen gives you a clear, real time view at the equipment location, which cuts down on guesswork when you're checking system status or making adjustments.
Phone-based monitoring works until you're standing right at the system and still need another device in your hand to see what's going on. This display connects directly to the Cerbo GX (sold separately) with a single cable, turning the screen into a permanent on-site access point instead of something you have to log into from somewhere else. In real use, you can walk up to the install, check live system information, and change settings on the spot without depending on a separate phone or remote tool.
A display only earns its keep if it fits the dash or panel without looking tacked on or forcing awkward placement. The GX Touch 50 uses a slim dashboard mounting design and supports top mount, flush, or embossed installation options, giving you more control over how it sits in the space. That flexibility matters when you're planning the layout around the rest of the system, and it leaves you with a screen that looks integrated and stays easy to reach during everyday checks.
Some setups need a screen at the system, but that doesn't mean remote access stops mattering. This display works as the local control point while the Cerbo GX (sold separately) also supports remote system access through the Victron Remote Management portal, or system control access through GX Touch, MFD, or VictronConnect when used with Cerbo GX. You get direct interaction at the display when you're on-site, while the broader system still supports remote monitoring paths when local access isn't the one you're using.

Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this Victron GX Touch 50 Display for your Cerbo GX Communication Center. Now this is basically the touch screen or the face for your Victron power system. And this is a a five inch color touch display. This is gonna work together with your Cerbo GX Communication Center.
So think of the Cerbo GX as the brain and this GX Touch 50 as the screen that you interact with. When they are connected, the GX Touch is going to let you see what your system is doing in real time, battery levels, solar production, inverter status, shore power, generator info, and a whole lot more. You can change settings directly on the screen instead of needing a laptop or a phone. And this display is indeed designed to be slim and easy to install. This is usually mounted on a panel or a dashboard, and it's going to connect to the Cerbo GX with this cable, which is gonna keep the wiring simple.
And this is also built for marine, RV, and off-grid environments. So this is gonna hold up well in those real world conditions. So let me just go over briefly what's included. So again, you're gonna get your five inch touchscreen display and then you're going to get this USB-A HDMI style cable here. So you can see it's one cable with these two connection points here.
And then you're going to get the mounting hardware, the mounting bracket, and then you're also going to get this cover. This is a nice addition actually. So this is going to protect your touch display from water, dust, or even UV light. And that's going to ensure it's longevity and performance. So that's gonna be great.
This is gonna be great to pop on when you're not using it for any length of time, just to protect that display, especially depending on what kind of conditions you're in. So you're also going to get a template here to guide you through the installation process. And let me give you some measurements just so you have a good idea of the size. So retrieving my ruler here. As you can see, we've been talking that this is five inch, so there was your five inch wide. And then looking at the height, we're right at about 3 7/16 inches tall. In regards to the depth, if you're including where that cable connects, about 1 1/2 inch or so. But again, this is very thin. So actually lemme look at that again. I think I looked that wrong. Let's say 1/2 inch. I think I was over by about an inch, so about 1/2 inch deep. So again, very thin, very well built as well. So I think again, this is gonna hold up really well for you. So again, this is directly from Victron and if you happen to have any other questions, whether it's about this display or anything that we have here at etrailer, don't hesitate to reach out 'cause we do wanna make sure that you're getting exactly what you need. Well again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.

This is a great addition to my electrical system in my Intech Sol Horizon. I can now control my Victron Energy Multiplus from the screen. I can also see what is going on electrically at a glance.
