Can Voyager WiSight Camera Be Connected to 12V Constant Power Circuit

Can you hard wire connect the Voyager camera so it always stays ON, instead of just getting it powered, when you only turn on the running light?

Yes, you can connect the camera from the Voyager WiSight 2.0 Wireless Backup Camera System # ASA37YR to a constant 12V power wire so it isn't tied to the running light circuit of your setup. You can either find a pre-existing circuit or run your own power wire from the battery bank up to the camera for this application.

We tend to recommend trying it into the running light circuit though so it's easier to turn on and off, it's an easier installation, and you get the visual of your headlights being on in case you forget to shut the power off - this helps prevent the camera from continuously pulling power from it's source.
