Question:
I just read your winterizing article and it is a nice checklist. One question, I always remove the coach batteries. Is this necessary? It gets very cold in northern Arizona where I store but lifting the batteries in and out is getting harder for me each year. Thanks

Removing the battery is a great way to get the battery out of a colder climate which can help prevent it from depleting but another option that would allow you to keep the battery in the camper is a solar charger like the Bright Way Solar Charger part # BRW54FR which would give the battery a maintenance charge every day to keep it topped off and ready to use next year. The panel would mount on the exterior of the camper and then with the included wire you'd run it to your battery.
