Will Item # e48GR axle fit my existing hubs which are Dexter 8-01A, 4 on 4?

I wasn't able to find any information on your Dexter hubs, however the Trailer Idler Axle Beam with Easy Grease Spindles # e48GR that you mention will work with a Replacement Trailer Hub Bearing # L44649 and the Grease Seal # 58846.
So, as long as your Dexter 8-01A hubs have the same measurements, this should fit with no issues.
