Question:

In the wiring diagram provided, what determines the direction of the step moment. I can see that the step would extend. What causes it the retract?

Basically when using a rocker switch like the Single Slide-Out Momentary Switch # 37212095 to control your Kwikee Electric RV Step Complete Assembly # LC3658373 the switch will connect the circuit by rocking to one side, extending your steps, and will sever the connection by rocking back to the other side, retracting the steps.
