This is a basic very good looking 12 v frig. Nothing fancy, nothing complicated. No defrost, no led screen etc. In my opinion less stuff to break.
Installation went easy. Plug off the gas line from old frig and connect the 12 volt wires. Despite what other reviews and the on line instruction manual says it does come with both the upper and lower mounting brackets. They are taped to the packaging foam so don’t throw them away.
It also comes with a travel door latch. Pretty simple and basic but it should work just fine.
It also is convertible to left door swing and also comes with those parts. The conversion is pretty simple and easy.
Shipping was great and on time. Installation went perfect and customer was thrilled. The appearance of the refrigerator was very nice.
Works great and looks great as well. The bracket kit that I got did not fit but I was able to drill new holes in in.
Once installed the fridge works just fine and looks great. Cools fast as it should. So why should you go with a more expensive unit? Well #1 for me would be to get frost free. I've got to be honest and say I overlooked that when I was buying, if I was doing it over I'd spend a few hundred more and get a unit that's frost free. #2 even though the description states that it comes with a travel lock, it does not. You must buy that separately. #3 the directions are lacking and when it comes to the mounts (which aren't included) and the hardware. There's a plastic part that I have no clue where it goes. Washers that again, no clue and they aren't called out in the directions. Random screws...no clue what they are for.
But in the end, it looks good and cools fast so it does its job.
So far seems to be a great investment, just a little difficult to set temp. No numbers on the dial.
