Review of Go Power! Accessories and Parts 34264403

Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at a Go Power! 30 amp Transfer Switch. Now this transfer switch provides automatic power switching between two separate 120 volt AC inputs. The automatic transfer switch is usually installed to allow both your inverter and shore power to alternatively feed the circuits and prevent AC back feed. It automatically connects shore power, when available, to your breaker panel. And when unplugged from power it then connects your inverter output to power your circuits. Now, a transfer switch is a great option when it comes to powering the central distribution panel, which is where all of the RV's circuit breakers are located and it's great for that when power is needed when you're not plugged into a campground pedestal or shore power. This unit has all the connection points located right there on the inside.

On the reverse side of the lid you have a little diagram that helps you identify what's what. The enclosure right here is plastic. It is a nice, durable plastic. It doesn't feel like a flimsy, cheap plastic. Nice, durable design.

You've got the punch outs where needed all around the box. When it comes to the measurements of the unit I took overall measurements not including the mounting tabs, which the widest points are here at the top of the lid because you can see how this kind of tapers out. And so when it comes to the overall length, measuring edge to edge, I actually included the mounting tabs as well, and that gave me a measurement of about eight and five-eighths inches. Going this direction edge to edge is about seven and three-eighths inches. Overall height is about four and one-eighth inches. And then the mount holes on the unit, like these right here, are separated on center by five and seven-eighths inches.

And then going this direction the mount holes are separated on center by eight and thirteen-sixteenths inches. That's going to do it for today's look at the Go Power! 30 amp Transfer Switch.
